Tease Me -Fishing Equipment Rundown

Most of our anglers bring their own tackle. The big GTs here will destroy anything less than Shimano Stellas or Daiwa Saltigas on heavy tackle popper rods. We strongly recommend you bring your own heavy tackle popping and jigging gear.

The popper casting equipment we use is only suitable for targeting GTs up to about 25kg.

2 x Shimano Saragosas on Shimano T-Curve 15-24kg Bluewater rods
2 x Daiwa Freams on light tackle casting rods
2 x Daiwa high speed Saltists on Shimano T Curve 200 deep drop rods

The Islander 23 was designed for the Fiji Islands to best suit the shallow coral reef lagoons whilst still being more than capable of handling outer reef chop and ocean swells. Used extensively by many resorts and private owners, the vessel has proved itself as a versatile all-round skiff. Matava Resort even operates a another custom adapted version as a 6 person dive boat.

Tease Me has a self draining floor, low freeboard for handling fish boatside, walk-around centre console, raised side-rails for anglers fighting fish, bow casting platform for inshore work such as fly fishing, two ice chests, shade T-Top and storage space for safety equipment.
